PascoHome Homeownership Assistance Programs
PascoHome is the Pasco County Community Development Homeownership Assistance Program.
There are two Assistance programs available.
The Homebuyer Assistance Program provides financial assistance toward the purchase of any home in Pasco County, except mobile and manufactured homes. Assistance is in the form of a 0% loan that must be repaid on either a monthly or deferred schedule. The program is dependent on your income level and the maximum price of an assisted home cannot exceed $240,000. Buyers are required to contribute some of their own money toward the purchase of their home.
The Pasco Opportunity Program (POP) is a partnership between Pasco County and several not for profit agencies. These agencies buy homes, have them repaired, and make them available for sale. These homes have been rehabilitated and made energy efficient. Buyers are required to contribute some of their own money toward the purchase of their home.
To qualify for Pasco County assistance, you must take a Homebuyer Education Course conducted by the Tampa Bay Community Development Corporation.
